Along with Redmi Y3, Xiaomi also launched Xiaomi Redmi 7, the successor of Redmi 6 in India. The phone starts at Rs 7999.

Xiaomi Redmi 7 also got the upgrade of Aura design and the phone comes in Comet Blue, Lunar Re,d and Eclipse Black colors. The phone features P2i nano-coating for making it Splash resistant.

It features a 6.26-inch (1520 × 720 pixels) HD+ display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection and runs on Android 9.0 (Pie) with MIUI 10. The phone packs 1.8GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 632 14nm processor with Adreno 506 GPU.

It comes in 2 GB RAM and 3 GB RAM options with 32 GB of storage. Storage is also expandable up to 512GB with microSD card. Redmi 7 also features a triple card slot that includes two nano-SIM card slots and one micro SD card slot.

The phone has a dual camera with 12 megapixels primary and 2 megapixels secondary depth camera. It also has an 8 megapixels front camera.

Redmi 7 has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. It also has an infrared sensor. The phone has Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, and GPS + GLONASS connectivity. It packs 4000 mAh battery.

The phone will be available in India starting from April 29th through Amazon.in, Mi.com and Mi Home stores.
