WittyFeed has launched a new platform CatchUp to get all the trending stories at one place. CatchUp offers media-rich content curated from different platforms and categorizes the content to make it easy to explore.

CatchUp curates content from various publishers in different categories such as Politics, Bollywood, Sports, Lifestyle, Health & Fitness, and Social Media, etc. It is basically a PGC led UGC platform that aims to remove clutter and serve the best content you shouldn’t miss.

Vinay Singhal, CEO of CatchUp, realized that the average attention span of internet users has gone low and people now prefer micro-consumption. Catchup addresses the same and offers video content from 3 seconds to 2 minutes.

Mobile devices are the main source of content consumption, so the company has just launched a mobile website. Mobile apps will also be launched soon. If you try opening the website on desktop, it asks for scanning a QR code from the phone. Scanning QR code opens the website on the mobile phone.

Users can also signup for getting personalised content from selected categories and language. For now, content is only available in English and Hindi. What I personally liked is that it supports PIP mode, so you can keep watching the videos on a floating screen while replying to someone on WhatsApp.

In a statement, Vinay Singhal, co-founder & CEO, CatchUp, said, “While building nine successful global digital media brands including WittyFeed over last four years, we realized that users’ content consumption behaviour has shifted majorly. Mobile devices allow users to consume content at their comfort and keep up with what’s happening around them. My Time has become the new Prime Time.”

You can check Catchup by opening the link from your mobile phone.
