Samsung has announced its new top-end smartphone in the ‘A Series’ of smartphones at an event in Thailand. This new smartphone is Samsung Galaxy A80. The phone comes with a unique kind of rotating camera unit that makes the phone special.
The phone has 3D Glass body with a metal frame. It comes in Angel Gold, Ghost White and Phantom Black colors.
Samsung Galaxy A80 features a 6.7-inch Full HD+ 20:9 New Infinity Super AMOLED display. The phone runs on Samsung One UI based on Android 9 Pie.
The phone is powered by recently announced octa-core Snapdragon 730G Soc with Adreno 618 GPU. It comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage.
The phone has a triple camera setup that acts as both rear and front camera. This setup includes 48 megapixels primary camera with f/2.0 aperture, 8 megapixels 123° ultra-wide angle camera with f/2.2 aperture, and 3D Depth camera for Live Focus by scanning objects for measurement and depth. It is priced at 649 Euros and will be available in Europe from mid-May.
