ROG (Republic of Gamers) has introduced its latest lineup of Strix gaming laptops at RE:DEFINE 2019. Newly introduced models are ROG Strix SCAR III and ROG Hero III.
These laptops bring 9th-Gen Intel Core i9 processors and Nvidia RTX GPUs promising high-end performance.
Strix SCAR III and Strix Hero III laptops will come in 15.6-inch and 17.3-inch display respectively. The display of these laptops has a 144Hz refresh rate and 3ms response time. SCAR III has a model offering a 240Hz refresh rate. Along with Intel Core i9, Core i7 and Core i5 models are also there. These laptops also pack up to 32GB DDR4 RAM and up to 1TB SSD 2.5‑inch 1TB SSHD storage.
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 1660/2060/2070 GPU with up to 8GB GDDR6 VRAM is also there to take care of graphics.
High-end processors and GPUs require cooling, so the laptops have “Intelligent Cooling System” for keeping the laptop cool.
Both the laptops feature Backlit chiclet keyboard with Per-Key RGB lighting, 4 Zone RGB and Aura Sync. For audio, there are two speakers with 4W of power and smart amplifier technology.
Both the laptops pack 66Wh 4-cell lithium-ion battery.
