Redmi has shared a teaser video of a Redmi phone as a part of its partnership with Redmi. The phone is expected to feature Qualcomm’s high-end chipset Snapdragon 855. It will also come with a notch-less display and a 32 MP pop-up selfie shooter on top. There will also a triple camera featuring the current best Sony IMX 586 48-megapixel sensor in the primary camera along with 8 megapixels depth camera and 13 megapixels depth camera.

Some reports suggest that the phone will be called Redmi X but there is no official confirmation. Xiaomi now doesn’t bring its high-end smartphones in India, but chances of launching Redmi X in India are high.

Redmi General Manager Lu Weibing also confirmed that the brand is working on a Snapdragon 855 powered smartphone and will be a phone with high screen-to-body ratio, notch-less display, powerful performance but at an affordable price.

It is also worth to mention that MD of Xiaomi India, Manu Kumar Jain recently confirmed that a new smartphone powered by recently launched Qualcomm Snapdragon chip will also be coming to India soon. So, we can expect two new smartphones from Xiaomi (parent of Redmi) next month.
