Oppo has announced its latest entry-level smartphone OPPO A1k in Russia. This phone is also rumored to come to India soon. In Russia, It is priced at Rs. 9990 Rubles.
OPPO A1k features a 6.1-inch HD+ display with Waterdrop Notch. The display also has Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It packs Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P22 12nm processor with IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU. The phone has 2GB RAM with 32GB storage. Storage is also expandable up to 256GB with microSD.
The phone features an 8 megapixels rear camera with LED flash and f/2.2 aperture. It also has 5 megapixels front camera with f/2.0 aperture.
The phone has Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS/GLONASS, and Micro USB connectivity options. It packs 4000 mAh battery.
OPPO A1k is available in two colors: black and red. The phone runs on ColorOS 6.0 based on Android 9.0. That offers customised Android experience.
Considering the specs, this phone should come to India at around Rs. 6000. If you convert the Russian pricing into Indian currency, it turns out to be Rs. 10,900 that is much higher than it should be for these specs.
Along with Oppo A1k, Oppo also launched Oppo A5s in Russia. The Oppo A5s has already been launched in India at Rs. 9990 earlier today.
