Nubia Red Magic 3 with 6.65-inch HDR 90Hz display, Snapdragon 855, active liquid-cooling, 12GB RAM announced
ZTE’s sub-brand Nubia brand just introduced its new gaming smartphone Nubia Red Magic 3 at an event in China.
Nubia Red Magic 3 features a 6.65-inch FHD+ HDR AMOLED display with the 90Hz refresh rate. The display also supports HDR. The phone is powered by octa-core Snapdragon 855 with an active cooling system that dramatically improves thermal performance. It also has Adreno 640 GPU to handle graphics.
The phone also has additional hardware switch toggles called Red Magic Game Space 2.0. you can organize and quick-launch games, fine-tune performance settings, monitor temperature and control fan speeds. You can also block notifications for uninterrupted gaming and record in-game videos.
There are also Touch-sensitive shoulder triggers for offering additional hardware buttons to use in gaming. You can configure and map these buttons to any gaming action of your choice. You can also customize RGB lighting with several effects.
The phone comes in different RAM and storage options including 6GB RAM with 64GB storage, 6GB RAM with 128GB storage, 8GB RAM with 128GB storage and 12GB RAM with 256GB storage.
The phone also comes with a 48 megapixels rear camera with Sony IMX586 sensor that produces 12 megapixels images. It also has a 16-megapixel front-facing camera.
Nubia Red Magic 3 comes with dual front-facing stereo speakers, DTS:X, and 3D sound technologies for offering cinematic soundscape with or without headphones.
The phone offers Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac dual-band (2×2 MU-MIMO ), Bluetooth 5, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, and USB Type-C. It also has a fingerprint sensor located on the rear panel.
It packs 5000 mAh battery with support to 27W fast charging. It claims to provide an hour of gameplay with a 10-minute charge.

It will go on sale in China starting from May 3rd. It will also be rolled out globally later in May in the USA, Canada, Europe, and the UK. The company has confirmed that it will also be launched in India.
