Nokia X71 with a 6.3-inch PureDisplay, Snapdragon 660, in-screen front camera announced

HMD Global has just announced its latest mid-range smartphone Nokia X71 in Taiwan. The phone features a punch-hole display, means it has an in-display front camera.

Nokia X71 features a 6.39-inch Full HD+ Pureview Display with 2.5D curved glass. The company claims 93% of screen-to-body ratio. It is powered by Octa Core Snapdragon 660 processor with Adreno 512 GPU and 6GB RAM.

The phone has 128GB of storage with an option to expand storage up to 256GB. It has Hybrid dual SIM slot, so secondary SIM acts as a microSD card slot. The phone also runs on Android 9.0 with pure Android experience.

It has a triple camera that includes 48 megapixels primary camera with ZEISS optics, f/1.8 aperture, and 6P lens, 8 megapixels 120-degree ultra-wide angle camera and 5 megapixels camera with f/2.4 aperture. Like other 48 megapixels camera phone, this phone also produces 12-megapixel output by default using 4-in-1 pixel binning. It also has 16 megapixels front camera with ZEISS optics.

Nokia X71 has a glass back and metal frame. It weighs 180 grams. The phone will be available only in Black color option with copper accents around the frame, fingerprint sensor, and camera module. Dimensions measure 157.19×76.45×7.98mm.

It features Nokia OZO Audio for the better audio experience. Fingerprint sensor is located on the back panel of the phone. It offers Nokia OZO Audio
Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, and USB Type-C connectivity options.

The phone packs 1800 mAh battery and supports 18W fast charging.

It is priced at NT$ 11,990 and will go on sale in Taiwan starting from April 10th.

This phone is expected to come in India as Nokia 6.2.
