Honor has launched a new budget phone Honor 8A Pro in Russia. The phone looks to be a Russia-specific variant of the Honor Play 8A that was launched back in January this year.

Honor 8A Pro features a 6.09-inch IPS HD+ (720×1560 pixels) display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It has a water drop notch above the display. The phone runs on EMUI 9 based on Android 9 Pie.

It is powered by octa-core MediaTek Helio P35 SoC clocked at 2.3GHz. It also has a PowerVR GE8320 GPU. The phone packs 3GB of RAM and 64GB of storage with an option to expand storage up to 512GB via a dedicated microSD card slot.

It has a 13 megapixels rear camera with LED flash and f/1.8 aperture. There is also an 8 megapixels selfie camera.

It offers 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, and a Micro-USB 2.0 connectivity options. The phone also has a fingerprint sensor located on the back panel. It packs 3020 mAh battery.

Dimensions of the phone measure 156.28×73.5x8mm and it weighs 150 grams.

It is priced at RUB 13,990 and is being sold in Russia via Tmall.
