Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2, Max M2, and Max Pro M1 are getting Android 9.0 Pie Update in India

Android Pie update for Asus devices

Asus has finally started pushing Android 9 Pie update to Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2, Max M2 and Max Pro M1 smartphones in India.

Asus announced this via a Twitter post. Several users have also confirmed receiving the updates.

Dinesh Sharma, Head – Mobile Business, ASUS India, said, “Sincere thanks to our Power Users, who participated in the beta program and helped with their feedback to fine-tune the Android Pie software for all users.”

The Android Pie update is rolling out over-the-air and it could take up to two weeks to reach all active devices across the country. So, wait if you don’t see the update on your device.

The latest Android Pie update brings several new features including Adaptive Battery, Adaptive Brightness, App actions, Autofill in browsers and more.

Asus started the beta program for these phones back in February this year and promised to roll out the stable Android Pie release before April 15. This time, Asus successfully met the deadline it promised.

The Android Pie update is only for India and there is no world when these smartphones will get Android Pie in other regions.
