Xiaomi’s 100W Super Charge Turbo can charge a 4000 mAh battery in just 17 minutes

Oppo’s SuperVOOC is currently the fastest wired charging technology at 50W. But Xiaomi is going to beat Opposition with its new Super Charge Turbo fast charging tech.

Xiaomi’s Super Charge Turbo uses a 100W charger running at 20V/5A. It can charge a 4000 mAh battery in just 17 minutes. We also saw a video comparison of Xiaomi’s Super Charge and Oppo’s SuperVOOC. In 17 minutes, Xiaomi’s Super Charge Turbo achieved 100% charging while SuperVOOC was only at 65% while charging a 3700 mAh battery.

Huawei’s upcoming Mate X will feature a 55W Super Charge that takes 35 minutes to fully charge the 4500 mAh battery of the phone.

As of now, Xiaomi devices can support 27W wired chargers but its flagship phone Mi 9 comes only with 18W charger in the box. The next Mi Flagship could get this 100W Super Charge Turbo, but Xiaomi will surely ask consumers to buy the charger separately.
