Xiaomi Redmi Go with 5-inch HD display, Android Go, 3000 mAh battery launched in India for Rs. 4499

Xiaomi has just launched its new first Android Go Edition smartphone Redmi Go in India. The phone is priced at Rs. 4999 and promises a good experience to first-time smartphone buyer.

Redmi Go features a 5-inch HD 16:9 display. The phone packs 1.4GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 425 processor with Adreno 308 GPU. It packs. GB RAM and 8 GB of storage with an option to expand storage up to 128GB,

The phone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo Go edition. This is is the optimized version of Android for low-end devices.

The phone has 8 megapixels rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash. This camera can also record 1080p videos. It also has 5 megapixels front camera with f/2.2 aperture.

It is a dual SIM phone and features a dedicated microSD card slot. Redmi Go offers 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, and GPS connectivity. The phone packs 3000 mAh battery.

The phone comes in Black and Blue colors. It will go on sale starting March 22nd on Flipkart, Mi.com and Mi Home Stores.
