Samsung releases Galaxy Apps Store in 12 local Indian languages

A few days back, Samsung India launched Galaxy Store to offer Galaxy Apps and Galaxy Themes at once place. Today, Samsung India announced the launch of its Galaxy App store in 12 local Indian languages in addition to English to reach more Indian customers.

Now the Galaxy App store is available in English, Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil, Odia, Assamese, Punjabi, Kannada, Gujarati, Hindi, Urdu, Bengali and Marathi languages.

“There is a marked increase in the penetration of smartphones and mobile application downloads across Tier 2 and Tier 3 markets. We studied this trend in key markets and partnered with Indus App Bazaar to address the growing demand for vernacular applications. The partnership will enable our valued customers to access their favorite apps on Galaxy Apps Store in 12 Indian languages in addition to English. With this, we are certain that our customers across the country will find the ‘Galaxy App Store’ even more useful and user-friendly,” said Sanjay Razdan, Senior Director, Services Management, Samsung India.

The Galaxy App store is exclusive for the Galaxy users and provides them themes, Apps along with other Galaxy-exclusive content and services. You can use the app store for buying themes, camera filters, watch faces and more. You also do not need to sign in for accessing the apps and other content of the app store.

The galaxy Apps also has a section that highlights all Indian innovations to Samsung smartphone users that is in line with the Startup India initiative of Government of India.
