At the time when people are expecting Poco F2, the company is working on a cheaper Poco Phone dubbed as Poco F1 Lite. The phone was founded listed on Geekbech and was first spotted by SlashLeaks.
Geekbench listing also confirmed the key specifications of the phone. As per listing, the phone will come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC, clocked at 1.61GHz along with 4GB RAM. Not sure why the underclocked CPU, but Xiaomi can tune it any time before the launch. It will also run on the latest Android 9 Pie.
Poco F1 Lite should also come with refreshed design and follow the recent gradient color trend. Xiaomi has already tested this in Redmi note 7 series and tasted the success.
We are not sure when this phone will be launched, but it is certainly in testing. Xiaomi has not made any confirmations around the phone, so we should not expect the launch anytime soon.
