Lava has just launched a new budget smartphone Lava Z40 in India. It is priced at Rs. 3499

Lava Z40 features a 4-inch LCD Display with 800x 400 pixels resolution. It is powered by 1.4 GHz Quad core processor (unknown chipset) with 1 GB RAM. The phone comes with 8GB storage with an option to expand storage up to 64GB.

The phone runs on Android 8.1 (Go edition) and comes with compatible apps like Gmail Go, Youtube Go, Google Go, Google Assistant Go, Maps Go, Files Go, Whatsapp, and Facebook Lite. The phone also features smart search in 10 Indian languages including Hindi.

It features a 2 megapixels rear camera with LED flash. There is also a 2 megapixels front camera with front LED flash. Both rear and front camera also offers Bokeh mode with adjustable Bokeh option.

It packs 2250 mAh battery and claims over 17 hours of talk time on the 4G network.

It us a dual SIM phone where both slots support 4G. Other connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, microUSB v2.0, Bluetooth v4.2 and GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS.

It measure 125.5 x 63.9 x11.65 mm and weighs 120grams. It comes in two colors – Black and Gold.
