Huawei has announced an entry-level smartphone Huawei Y6 (2019), the successor of Huawei Y6 (2018) launched last year.
Huawei Y6 (2019) features a 6.09-inch FHD+ display with a dew-drop notch. The company claims the screen to body ratio to be 87 percent. The phone comes in Saphire Blue and Midnight Black models having a metal back panel. There is also an Amber Brown variant having textured leather finish.
The phone packs 12nm MediaTek MT6761 Helio A22 processor with 2 GB RAM. It has 32 GB of storage with an option to expand it up to 512GB. The phone runs on Android 9.0 Pie with the EMUI 9.0.

It features a 13 megapixels rear camera with f/1.8 aperture. There is also 8 megapixels front camera with Selfie Toning Flash 2.0. Front camera is also used to offer Face Unlock functionality.
Huawei Y6 (2019) includes 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.2, WiFi, and GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou connectivity options. The phone also packs 3020mAh battery.
The pricing and availability details have yet to be confirmed by the company.
