Sony Xperia L3 with 5.7-inch HD+ display, dual-rear cameras announced

Along with Xperia 1, Xperia 10 and Xperia 10 Plus, Sony has also launched Sony Xperia L3 smartphone. This is a budget phone and has entry-level specs.

Sony Xperia L3 comes with 5.7-inch HD+ 18:9 display protected with Gorilla Glass 5. It runs on Android 8 Oreo. It packs Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P22 12nm processor with IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU. The phone comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB eMMC storage. Storage is also expandable up to 512GB with microSD.

It has 13 megapixels rear camera with LED flash and f/2.2 aperture There is also a 2 megapixels secondary depth camera. It has hybrid autofocus and also comes with portrait mode. It also comes with 8 megapixels front camera with f/2.0 aperture.

It has dual 4G VoLTE. Other connectivity options are WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS+ GLONASS, USB Type-C, and NFC. It also has a fingerprint sensor located on the side. It also includes the accelerometer, ambient light sensor, digital compass, hall sensor, magnetometer, step counter, step detector, significant motion detector, and proximity sensors.

The phone features a plastic unibody design having a metallic finish. It weighs 156 grams. It comes in Silver, Black, and Gold colors.

The phone packs 3300 mAh battery.

Sony has not announced the price but confirmed that the phone will be launched in select markets from today, February 25. Price will vary with region and selected regions will also get the dual SIM model.
