Samsung Officially Announces Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10 Plus, and Galaxy S10e

Samsung Galaxy S10 series

Samsung has officially launched Galaxy Galaxy S10-series an event in San Francisco, The company has launched three smartphones Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+, and the Galaxy S10e in S10-series. All these phones have punch-hole selfie cameras and differ in specifications. There is also a 5G phone called Galaxy S10 5G.

Samsung Galaxy S10+ is the largest and features 6.4-inch Quad HD+ Dynamic AMOLED Infinity-O Display. The Galaxy S10 comes with 6.1-inch Quad HD+ Dynamic AMOLED Infinity-O Display. The smallest one is Galaxy S10e that comes with 5.8-inch Full HD+ Dynamic AMOLED Infinity-O Display. All these phones have HDR10+ certified.

Samsung Galaxy S10 series

Each phone is made from aluminum and glass back. The rear panels of all these three smartphones are protected with Gorilla Glass 5. Gorilla Glass 6 is only available on Galaxy S10 and S10+.

These phones run on Android 9 Pie with new One UI. Samsung is also rolling out One UI in older phones.

These phones will come with either 7nm octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC or 8nm octa-core Samsung Exynos 9820 SoC depending on regions.

Galaxy S10 Plus will be available in three options: 8GB RAM with 128GB storage, 12GB RAM with 512GB storage and 12GB RAM with 1TB storage. Galaxy S10 features 8GB RAM and offers 128GB & 512GB storage. The Galaxy S10e has two options: 6GB RAM with 128GB storage and 8GB RAM with 256GB storage.

Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+ come with triple camera setup on the back. This setup includes 16 megapixels Ultra Wide Camera, 12 megapixels Wide-angle Camera and 12 megapixels Telephoto Camera. Galaxy S10e just features a dual camera with 16 megapixels Ultra Wide Camera and 12 megapixels wide-angle camera. These phones can record 4K UHD videos at 60fps.

Galaxy S10+ features a dual front camera with 10 megapixels (F/1.9) primary and 8 megapixels (F/2.2) secondary RGB Depth Camera. Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10e feature 10 megapixels (F/1.9) front camera.

The company has used the under-display Ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. It uses ultrasonic pulses and detects the 3D ridges and valleys of your fingerprint. So, it is secure and convenient.

These phones come with stereo speakers and earphones tuned by AKG. There is also the IP68 rating.

Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE (LTE Cat. 20), Wi-Fi 802.11ax, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, and a USB Type-C.

Galaxy S10+ is bigger and packs 4100 mAh battery. Galaxy S10 comes with 3400 mAh battery and Galaxy S10e offer 3100 mAh battery. All three models support fast charging on both wired and wireless charging modes.

There is also a 5G version of the phone called Samsung Galaxy S10 5G. It also features Quad-HD+ Curved Dynamic AMOLED display and packs same processor with 8GB of RAM and 256GB storage. It comes with Quad camera setup where three cameras are the same as in Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+, but adding a 3D Depth sensor with an hQVGA resolution. It has 10 megapixels front camera along with a secondary 3D Depth Camera with an hQVGA resolution. This phone packs 4,500mAh. It also includes ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor.
