After several leaks, finally, Samsung has officially announced its latest smartphone Samsung Galaxy A50. This a mid-range phone and features in-display fingerprint scanner.

Samsung Galaxy A50 comes with 6.4-inch Full HD+ Infinity-U Super AMOLED display and runs on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box. It has Samsung Pay, Bixby Vision, Bixby Voice, Bixby Home, and Bixby Reminder.

It packs Exynos 9610 10nm processor with Mali-G72 GPU. The phone has two models including 4GB RAM with 64GB storage and 6GB RAM with 128GB Storage. Storage is also expandable up to 512GB.

The phone has a triple rear camera setup that includes 25 megapixels primary camera with f/1.7 aperture, 5 megapixels depth camera with f/2.2 aperture and 8 megapixels ultra-wide angle camera with f/2.2 aperture. It has 25 megapixels selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture.

This mid-range phone also features an in-display fingerprint sensor. It offers Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, NFC, and USB Type-C.

The phone packs 4000 mAh battery with fast charging.

It looks impressive and comes in Black, White, Blue and Coral colors. Not just looks, the specs of the phone are also good. If Samsung uses the same aggressive pricing strategy that it began with M series of smartphones, this phone will surely get good attention in the Indian market.

It will go on sale in mid-March. The phone will also be launched in India soon.
