HMD Global just announced its much-awaited Nokia 9 PureView smartphone featuring 5 cameras on the back and in-display fingerprint sensor.

Nokia claims that it can also produce photos with up to 240-megapixel resolution. The company also claims that the device can preserve detail within 12.4 stops of dynamic range.
The cameras cannot do any level of optical zoom because the company focuses on HDR and depth based photography. Photos captured using Nokia 9 PureView can be depth-edited after the fact by tapping anywhere on the photo. Photos can have multiple focal points in bokeh shots.
This camera array was developed in partnership with Light, the company that also made a 16-lens L16 camera.
