Along with LG G8 ThinQ, LG has also introduced LG V50 ThinQ 5G at MWC. LG V50 ThinQ 5G is the first 5G phone from LG and packs Snapdragon X50 5G Modem.
LG V50 ThinQ 5G comes with a 6.4-inch (3120 x 1440 pixels) 19.5:9 FullVision OLED Display. The company has also introduced a new Dual Screen accessory that adds a second 6.2-inch OLED (2160 x 1080 pixels) FHD+ display for better gaming and multitasking experience. This secondary display uses the phone’s power to run.
It runs on Android 9.0 Pie. It is powered by Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 7nm processor with Adreno 640 GPU with Snapdragon X50 5G Modem. It has 6GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB (UFS 2.1) storage. Storage is also expandable up to 2TB.
The phone has triple camera setup with 12 megapixels (f/1.5) primary, 16 megapixels (f/1.9) super wide camera and 12 megapixels (f/2.4) telephoto camera. It also has dual camera on the front that includes 8 megapixels (f/1.8) and 5 megapixels (f/2.2) secondary camera.
The phone is water and dust resistant with IP68 rating and is MIL-STD 810G certified. It also has a Fingerprint sensor located on the back.
Connectivity options include 5G, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth 5 LE, GPS, NFC,and USB Type-C 2.0. it packs 4000 mAh battery with support to Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0.
LG V50 ThinQ comes in Astro Black option. LG has also partnered with 10 major carriers in the
