I just found that Coolpad India has been Tweeting about the launch of its upcoming budget phone Coolpad Cool 3 since February 1. The launch of the phone is scheduled for February 5. It will be a budget phone with dual camera setup and is expected to be priced less than Rs. 6000.

Not much information is available but can guess about the design by seeing the teaser photos on Twitter. The phone will have a tiny waterdrop notch and a glossy back with gradient. It will also be available in multiple color options.

Specifications of the phone are not known yet but we shouldn’t expect powerful specifications. It will have entry-level specifications and the primary focus areas are the design of the phone and camera.

Coolpad has not been active recently. They launched few phones but only in selected regions. I wish this time they will be coming with a phone to launch across India. After the launch of Cool Play 6, the company has lost its charm and started struggling in front of other Chinese players.

What are you expecting from the phone? Let us know your views in the comments.
