Asus has surprised with MWC 2019 attendees by telling them the launch date of Zenfone 6 in a very different way. Asus has posted the ad on the pages of a magazine that comes with the press passes for MWC 2019 in Barcelona.

The full-page ad on the magazine confirms that the event will be held in Valencia, Spain on May 14. The ad indicates that the phone will not have any notch and will also feature slim bezels.

Not everyone received the magazine, so only a few reporters at MWC 2019 got to know about this.

It is also interesting to note that Asus has not posted any teaser on its social media accounts. Event after posting this ad on the magazine, Asus has yet to officially confirm the launch.

Not much information is available about the Zenfone 6. After this news, we are also expecting leaks confirming specifications of the phone.

The phone is expected to feature Snapdragon 855 processor and possible in-display fingerprint scanner. Following the recent trends, the company can also choose a punch-hole display or even a pop-up selfie camera.

We are still few days away before Asus reveals anything at MWC Barcelona. May be that have plans to tell us about the launch at their MWC announcements.
