Earlier this month, Xiaomi made Redmi an independent brand and launched Redmi Note 7. Now the company has started teasing the India launch of the phone.

Redmi India has tweeted a photo of Manu Jain, Vice President, Xiaomi and Managing Director along with CEO Lei Jun holding the smartphone. The Tweet was posted with photo and text both upside down.

Manu Jain also posted the same photo in upside down manner by saying, “We’re gonna turn this industry upside down.”

Xiaomi fans in India are excited for Redmi Note 7 and the primary reason is the design. It has been a long time since Xiaomi is using same design in all of its phones. Along with attractive design and colors, the phone also packs good specs.

Redmi note 7 features 6.3-inch Full HD+ 19:5:9 2.5D curved glass display with a tiny notch. It packs Octa Core Snapdragon 660 with Adreno 512 GPU. The phone comes with 3GB, 4GB and 6GB RAM options.

It has 48 megapixels rear camera along with a 5 megapixels secondary rear camera. The phone also features 13 megapixels front camera. It has both Fingerprint sensor and IR sensor.

The phone has Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4 /5GHz) Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS and USB Type-C. It also packs 4000mAh (typical) battery with Quick Charge 4.

In China, the phone starts at 999 yuan (Rs. 10,390 approx). So, we can expect the starting price of the phone in India to be Rs. 11990. The phone is expected to come in India in Mid-February. We should know the launch date soon.
