After announcing the price cut for Mi A2 and Redmi Note 5 Pro, now Xiaomi has announced another price cut. This time, Redmi Y2 has received the price cut. Xiaomi Redmi Y2 now starts at Rs. 8999.

Redmi Y2 3GB RAM with 32GB storage version is now priced at Rs. 8999 and 4GB RAM with 64GB storage version is available for Rs. 10999. Redmi Y2 is now available at new prices from Amazon.in, Mi.com and offline stores starting today.

Redmi Y2 features a 5.99-inch HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio. The phone is powered by Snapdragon 625 with 3GB and 4GB RAM options. It runs on Android 8.1 (Oreo) with MIUI 10 on top. The phone has a dual camera on the back with 12 megapixels primary and 5 megapixels secondary camera. It also has 16 megapixels front camera with soft LED flash. The selfie camera features AI beauty feature, Auto HDR and uses pixel binning technology.

The phone has fingerprint sensor and Face unlock options. It also has dedicated dual SIM and microSD slots. It packs 3080 mAh battery.
