It features 5.99-inch full-HD+ (1080×2160 pixels) display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. The phone packs octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor and comes in 4GB and 6GB RAM options.

The phone has dual camera setup with 12-megapixel primary and 20-megapixel secondary sensor. It also has 20 megapixels front camera with soft-light flash.

The phone has 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, and a USB Type-C connectivity options. It lacks 3.5mm headphone jack. It also has a fingerprint sensor located on the back. Mi A2 also packs 3000 man battery.

Now the phone stands in front of Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 that packs similar specs, but the larger battery. Realme 2 Pro is also in the same price segment.

After this price drop, the phone comes in direct competition of Redmi Note 6 Pro. So, Xiaomi will find it hard to sell the Red Note 6 Pro now. We can expect the price cut for Redmi Note 6 Pro as well.
