Samsung to Launch Galaxy M Series in India on January 28

Samsung is all set to launch its new Galaxy M lineup of smartphones in India on January 28. Amazon India has already started teasing the launch of the series confirming that the smartphones of the series will be available exclusively from Amazon India along with Samsung Online store.

Reports claim that the phones will come with aggressive price tags, so these phones may not be available from offline stores.

Samsung is also expected to launch three smartphones Galaxy M10, M20 and M30 on January 28. Galaxy M10 and M20 will be available starting March 5, while Galaxy M30 will be available later.

As per listing on Amazon, these devices will come with Infinity-V display with teardrop notch display similar to Realme 2 Pro and OnePlus 6T.

Galaxy M10 is expected to feature 6.02-inch Infinity-V display, 1.6GHz octa-core Exynos 7870 processor, 3GB RAM, 16GB/32GB of inbuilt storage and 3,400mAh battery.

Galaxy M20 to come with 6.13-inch Infinity-V display, octa-core Exynos 7885 processor, 3GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of inbuilt storage. It will also feature 13-megapixel + 5-megapixel dual camera on the back and 8 megapixels front camera. It will run on Android 8.1 Oreo with Samsung’s own skin on top along with 5000mAh large battery.

The Galaxy M30 to feature a 6.13-inch Infinity-V display, octa-core Exynos 7885 processor, 4GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of inbuilt storage. It will feature a 13-megapixel + 5-megapixel + 5-megapixel triple camera setup and 16 megapixels front camera. It also packs 5000mAh battery.

The Amazon listing also claims that the phones will support fast charging. Other specs will also be competitive. These devices will also be priced between Rs 10,000 and Rs 20,000.

Reports also say the Samsung will discontinue Galaxy J and Galaxy On series of smartphones. The new Galaxy M series of smartphones aim to compete against Redmi and Zenfone series of smartphones that are doing well in entry-level and mid-range segment.
