A few days back, we reported about the Flipkart’s teaser of a new phone by Realme. The company calls it RealMe C1 (2019) and has launched it in two RAM storage options. Basically, this is the same Realme C1 with just different RAM storage options.
Now Realme C1 comes in 2GB RAM with 32GB storage and 3GB RAM with 32 GB storage. These models are priced at Rs. 7499 and Rs. 8499 respectively. Like the previous model of Realme C1, these models will also be sold exclusively f
Commenting on the launch of Realme C1 (2019), Madhav Sheth, Chief Executive Officer, Realme India, said, “Starting this year, Realme will be focusing more on investing in the budget phone segment expanding our reach to massive customers. Launching Realme C1 (2019) with 2+32 GB and 3+32 GB is a step towards our investment in the budget segment. As a youth-centric brand, listening and understanding the voice of the customers is our duty, the budget segment needed a phone that gave every Indian access to a power packed device hence we are offering Realme C1(2019) to the customers at an affordable price. We have listened to our customer’s demand on the storage capacity and offered Realme C1 (2019) with Mega Battery, Mega Notch Display and Mega Storage, Entertainment ka Boss.”
There is no change in other specifications. To recall, Realme C1 2019 comes with 6.2-inch Display with a wide notch, 19:9 aspect ratio, and 88.8% screen-to-body ratio. The display also has Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
The phone has the same design where the back has 12 nanoscale laminated layers. It comes in two colors: Deep Black and Ocean Blue.
It runs on ColorOS 5.1 based on Android 8.1. Notable software features are Smart voice assistant, Smart Driving, Clone Phone, o-Roaming, Clone Apps, and Privacy Password. Realme also claims that the phone can get direct updates to fix bugs without needing to restart the phone.
The phone packs octa-core Snapdragon 450 processor clocked at 1.8GHz. I have already talked about RAM and storage option. Here, it is worth to note that the phone comes with a dedicated microSD card slot to expand storage up to 256GB.
There is no change in the camera as well. It comes with 13 MP + 2 MP rear camera setup with PDAF and LED flash. It also has 5 MP front camera with AI Beauty. The phone also supports Face Unlock.
The phone comes with 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS and USB OTG. It packs 4230 mAh battery.
