Amazon India has started teasing the launch of LG V40 ThinQ. The company has confirmed that the phone will be available starting January 20. Prime members will get early access on Jan 19, 12 PM.

Amazon has not confirmed the pricing. I expect price to be in between Rs. 40000 to Rs. 45000. Let’s see what Samsung has on cards.

Amazon has also listed launch offers for the phone. You will get Rs. 5000 off on exchange along with no cost RMI for up to 12 months. LG will also free replacement worth Rs. 16750.

LG V40 ThinQ features a 6.40 inch 19.5:9 FullVision QHD+ OLED Display. The display also has a notch. It runs on Android 8.1 (Oreo) with LG UX and is upgradable to Android 9.0 (Pie). The phone is powered by Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor with Adreno 630 GPU. The phone has 6GB LPDDR4x RAM. It also comes in 64GB or 128GB storage models.

The phone has triple camera setup that includes 12 megapixels primary sensor with f/1.5 aperture, 16 megapixels secondary super wide camera with /1.9 aperture and 12 megapixels telephoto camera with f/2.4 aperture. The phone has dual camera at the front with 8 megapixels primary f/1.9 camera and 5 megapixels secondary f/2.2 camera. Front camera setup offers portrait selfie and wide angle selfies.

The phone also has a lot for music lovers. It features 3.5mm audio jack. It also supports 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC and Boombox Speaker with DTS:X.

LG V40 ThinQ has MIL-STD-810G for military grade durability. It is also water and dust resistant with the IP68 rating. The phone has all glass design.

Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth 5 LE, GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C 2.0 (3.1 compatible). It has 3300 mach battery with fast wireless charging and support to Quick Charge 3.0
