Honor Play 8A with a 6-inch display, Helio P35 and Android 9.0 (Pie) announced

Honor has just launched its latest budget phone Honor Play 8A in China. It will go on sale in China starting from tomorrow, January 9th.

Honor Play 8A features a 6-inch HD+ 19:5:9 2.5D curved glass display. The phone has a tiny notch at the top. It is powered by 2.3GHz Octa-Core (ARM Cortex A53) MediaTek Helio P35 12nm Processor with IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU. It comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB or 64GB storage options. Storage is also expandable up to 512GB.

The phone runs on Android 9 Pie with EMUI 9.0 at the top. It has 13 megapixels rear camera with LED flash and f/1.8 aperture. It also has 8 megapixels front camera with f/2.0 aperture.

The phone has Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, and GPS + GLONASS connectivity. It packs 3000 mach battery.

The phone comes in Blue, Red, Gold and Black colors. Dimensions measure 156.28×73.5×8.0mm and it weighs 150g.
