A new gaming phone from Xiomi’s BlackShark has appeared on benchmarking website Geekbench. The phone was labelled as “Blackshark Skywalker” and listing confirms key specs of the phone.

The Geekbench listing says that the phone is powered by msmnile chipset. The Nile codename was linked to 855 chipset in the past while the MSM refers to Snapdragon. So, the phone seems to have Snapdragon 855. The listing also confirms 8GB of RAM on the device.

The single core score was 3494 while the multicore score was 11149. Both the scores are also similar to other Snapdragon 855 phones seen on Geekbench.

Snapdragon 855 is 5G ready chip that will come with X50 LTE modem to enable 5G connectivity. 855 isa arriving this year and Xiaomi’s Mi Mix 3 will also feature the same chipset.

BlackShark launch gaming phones. It introduced the first phone back in April last year followed by BlackShark Helo later in October last year. Now the company is working on BlackShark Skywalker. We have no more details. So, I cannot tell timeframe when the phone could be official or come for sale.
