Asus has announced its latest laptop ‘StudioBook S’ that aims to compete against Apple’s MacBook Pro in many ways.

The most notable thing about StudioBook S is that it comes with 17-inch Screen but easily fits in a 15-inch laptop bag. It has 5.3mm size bezels to keep small form factor. The screen of the laptop has a 16:10 aspect ratio, color-calibrated, Pantone validated, and 97-percent DCI-P3 color gamut. The display offers 1920 x 1200 pixels resolution. It also has a 180-degree layflat screen.

It packs hexacore Intel Xeon E-2176M processor and Nvidia Quadro P3200 graphics along with up to 64GB of memory and 4TB of PCIe SSD storage. This laptop is powerful enough fro editing 4K video or do intense CAD work on the move.

The keyboard on the laptop feats .4mm of travel for comfortable typing. It has textures on arrow key that makes it easier to locate them easily. It also has a fingerprint sensor with Windows Hello support.

It comes with Wi-Fi 6 along with several ports including USD 3.1, SD 4.0 card reader, Combi audio jack, HDMI 2.0 and Thunderbolt 3 ports. It lacks Ethernet port, so you will need to use the included USB adapter.

Another interesting thing in the laptop is its touchpad that can become a numpad for some reason. There is a NumberPad icon at the top right corner of the touchpad. Tapping on it will illuminate the numeric keypad. This will be really useful for those who want the numeric keypad.

It also has 57Wh 3-cell lithium-polymer battery.

It measures just 0.72 inches thich and weighs around 2.39 kg. So, it is a powerful workstation that you can easily carry. The laptop has Turquoise Grey aluminum finish that makes it attractive.
