Tambo Mobiles has launched its new budget phone Tambo TA-40 in India. This phone costs Rs. 5999 and is now available across the country via offline stores.

Tambo TA-40 features a 5.45-inch display with 18:9 aspect ratio. The company didn’t disclose screen resolution. The company also didn’t disclose the chipset and just confirm the 1.3GHz quad-core processor. The phone packs 1GB RAM and 8GB storage with option to expand storage up to 64GB.

The phone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo Go edition. It has a 5 megapixels rear camera with LED flash and 5 megapixels front camera with front flash. The camera features DualBokeh Mode, Face Beauty, and Face Stickers. You can also record time lapse.

Tambo TA-40 comes with both fingerprint sensor and face unlock option. The phone supports 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2 and GPS connectivity options. It also packs 2400mAh battery.

Tambo mobiles offer 200 days replacement along with warranty of one time screen replacement within 365 days of buying the phone. They already have more than 600 service centres across the country.
