Oppo has finally brought its R series of smartphones in India and launched Oppo R17 and Oppo R17 Pro in India. These phones are priced at Rs. 34990 and Rs. 45990 respectively. Both the phones offer edge-to-edge display and feature water-drop botch along with in-display fingerprint sensor.
OPPO R17 features a 6.4-inch Full HD+ 19:9 display with Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection. It is powered by Octa-Core Snapdragon 670 with Adreno 615 GPU. It has 8 GB RAM and 128GB of storage.
The phone has a dual rear camera with 16 megapixels primary F/1.8 camera and 5 megapixels secondary camera. It also has 25 megapixels front camera with 3D Portrait, f/2.0 aperture, AI and Sony IMX576 sensor.
It features an in-display fingerprint sensor. Connectivity options include Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS and USB Type-C. It packs 3500 mAh battery with VOOC Flash charge.
The phone has a metal frame with gradient glass back. It comes in Twilight Blue and Starry Purple colors. The company has not revealed the availability details.
Oppo 17 Pro is better. It has same 6.4-inch Full HD+ 19:9 display with Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection. It is powered by Octa Core Snapdragon 710 with Adreno 616 GPU. It also packs 8GB RAM with 128GB storage.
It features a dual camera with 12 megapixels primary sensor having a f/1.5 – f/2.4 variable aperture and 20 megapixels secondary camera. It also features OIS. It has a third Time of Flight (TOF) 3D Sensing camera that can capture high-precision 3D depth information through nanosecond infrared light. It allows the phone to capture 3D photos. The phone also has 25 megapixels front camera with f/2.0 aperture, AI, Sony IMX576 sensor and 3D Portrait.
The phone has an in-display fingerprint sensor. It also features Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, USB 3.1 Type-C and NFC. It packs 3700 mAh battery with SuperVOOC fast charging. This can charge the phone from 0 to 40% in just 10 minutes and a full charge in just 40 minutes.
The phone uses 3D fog glass and a new condensing grading process to make color blend on the phone. OPPO R17 Pro comes in Radiant Mist and Emerald Green colors.
Oppo R17 Pro will be available for pre-order exclusively on Amazon.in online starting today. It will go on sale from December 7th.
