OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition Launched in India for Rs. 50,999

OnePlus has just launched OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition in India. It was introduced at an event in the UK yesterday. The phone costs Rs. 50,999 and will be exclusively from Amazon.in and OnePlus India. OnePlus will hold a special sale on 13 December, 2018 at the OnePlus Experience Store in Connaught Place, New Delhi. Open sale of the phone begins on 15 December, 2018.

OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition is a special variant of OnePlus 6T launched in partnership with McLaren. The phone has U-shaped papaya orange design, a signature McLaren color inspired by the speed of light. The pattern underneath the glass back is based on McLaren’s groundbreaking carbon fiber. The also comes with Papaya Orange braided cord cable, McLaren’s logo, the iconic Speedmark, recreated in McLaren-designed F1 AA grade carbon fiber – the same material used in the McLaren MCL33 2018 Formula 1 car.

Apart from changes in design, the phone also comes with 10GB RAM and 30 watt Warp Charge 30. With this updated charging tech, the phone promises 50% charge in just 20 minutes. The company has introduced a new Integrated Circuits in both the charger and the phone for this tech.

All other specs of the phone are same. OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition features a 6.41-inch Full HD+ 19.5:9 aspect ratio Optic AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection. It packs 2.8GHz Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 10nm processor with Adreno 630 GPU and 10GB RAM. It also has 256GB storage. The phone features a dual camera with 16 megapixels primary Sony IMX519 with a f/1.7 aperture along with 20 megapixels secondary Sony IMX376K sensor with f/1.7 aperture. It also features OIS and EIS. The phone has 16 megapixels front camera with Sony IMX 371 sensor and f/2.0 aperture.

It comes with In-display fingerprint sensor and claims to be Daily Water-resistance. It features USB Type-C audio and packs 3700mAh battery.

The phone also has exclusive software animations tuned to McLaren’s unique style and history.
