HTC just announced its latest smartphone HTC Desire 12s in Taiwan.
HTC Desire 12s features a 5.7-inch HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio and 2.5D curved glass. Unlike other latest phones, the phone doesn’t feature a notch and has thick bezels around. It runs on Android 8.1 (Oreo) with HTC Sense UI.
The phone packs Octa-Core Snapdragon 435 processor with Adreno 505 GPU. It comes in two RAM storage models including 3GB RAM with 32GB storage and 4GB RAM with 64GB storage. Storage is also expandable.
The phone has 13 megapixels rear camera with LED flash, PDAF and f/2.2 aperture. It also has 13 megapixels front camera with f/2.4 aperture and LED flash.
It also has fingerprint sensor located on the back panel. Other sensors include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, digital compass sensor, and a proximity sensor.
It is a dual SIM phone and connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS, and NFC. It packs 3075 mach battery.
The HTC Desire 12s comes in Black, Silver and Red colors. Dimensions measure 154.2 x 72.7 x 8.3 mm and it weighs 150g. The back panel of the phone features a ribbed finish for better gripping.
The 3GB RAMwith 32GB storage model costs NT$5990 while the higher variant is priced at NT$ 6990. The phone is now available in Taiwan. We have no idea when it will be rolled out in other markets.
