Asus has just launched its gaming smartphone ROG phone in India. It is also the first true gaming phone launched in India. The phone will be exclusive to Flipkart and is priced at Rs. 69999.

The phone has been designed to keep thermal system in mind. It has GameCool system with copper heat spreader and 3D vapor chamber to keep the phone cool even while long gaming. The phone also has IPX4 rating for Water-resistant body. It also has ROG logo on the back with Aura lighting.
ROG phone has 6-inch Full HD+ AMOLED HDR AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time. The phone is powered by Snapdragon 845 SoC that is clocked up to 2.96GHz. It also has 8 GB RAM.
The phone also has dedicated ultrasonic buttons that give you two additional controls for your games. One can map these buttons to any actions of the game and then have better gaming experience.
The phone runs on ROG UI based on Android 8.1 (Oreo). The UI has several gaming related features to give you more control over your gaming.
The phone has a dual camera with 12 megapixels primary Sony IMX363 sensor having f/1.8 aperture, PDAF, 4-axis, 4 stops optical image stabilization and LED flash along with 8 megapixels 120° wide-angle secondary camera. It also has 8 megapixels front camera with f/2.0 aperture.
The phone has dual front firing 5 -magnet speakers with dual NXP 9874 smart amplifier,Hi-Res audio, DTS Headphone:X 7.1 virtual surround sound for headphone.
It comes with 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac dual-band (2×2 MU-MIMO ) / 802.11ad 60GHz, Bluetooth 5, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, USB Type-C and NFC connectivity options. It is worth to note that 802.11ad standard is not yet available in India.
The phone packs 4000mAh battery with supports up to 30W QC4.0 fast charging.
