Oppo has a considerable market share in India, but it never brought its R-series of smartphones in India. Today, the company posted a teaser video on its Twitter profile that hints towards the upcoming launch of a new phone from the R series of smartphones.

Not just on Twitter, but the company also posted a teaser on Instagram.
The teaser video doesn’t confirm any specific model. We are expecting the launch of Oppo R17 Pro that is the latest R-series phone. Other possible phones could be Oppo R17, R17 Neo and R15x. Among all these devices, Oppo R17 Pro is the most powered by Snapdragon 710 SoC, 8GB RAM, and 128GB storage. R17 packs Snapdragon 670 while R15x and R17 Neo feature Snapdragon 660 SoC. R17 Pro also comes with a triple camera at the back.
Oppo R17 Pro also packs waterdrop style notch, in-display fingerprint sensor and Oppo’s fast 50W SuperVOOC charging technology.
The most probable launch could be Oppo R17 Pro and Oppo R17. As of now, we have no information about models coming to India or possible launch date. We should know more details in the coming weeks.
