HMD Global just announced the launch of its latest mid-range Android One smartphone Nokia 7.1 in India. The phone was introduced last month. It will be available for Rs. 19999 from all leading mobile retailers across India and on Nokia.com/phones from 7th December.
Nokia 7.1 features a 5.84-inch Full HD+ HDR 10 display. The display has a 19:9 aspect ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It runs on Android 8.1 (Oreo) that is also upgradable to Android 9.0 (Pie).
Nokia 7.1 is powered by 1.8GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 636 14nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 509 GPU. It has 4GB LPDDR4X RAM with 64GB of storage and option to expand storage up to 400GB.
The phone has dual camera with 12 megapixels primary camera having LED flash, f/1.8 aperture,1.28 um pixel size, ZEISS optics, EIS and 5 megapixels secondary monochrome camera having a f/2.4 aperture, 1.12um pixel size. It also has 8 megapixels front camera with f/2.0 aperture.
The phone comes with Nokia OZO audio. It also has a fingerprint sensor located on the back.
Nokia 7.1 offers Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, Type-C 2.0 and NFC. It has 3060 mAH battery with support to fast charging.
Nokia has also announced few offers for Nokia 7.1 customers. Here are the offers.
- Airtel prepaid customers will get 1TB of 4G data on eligible plans starting Rs. 199
- Airtel postpaid customers can enjoy additional data of 120GB along with 3 months of Netflix subscription and 1 year of Amazon Prime subscription on plans starting Rs. 499.
- 10% cashback on HDFC Bank Credit and Debit cards EMI transactions done through Pinelabs terminals
