Honor has just launched a new smartphone Honor 8C, the successor of Honor 7C in India. The phone starts at Rs. 11999 and will be available exclusively on Amazon.in and Honor India online store starting from December 10.

Honor 8C features a 6.26-inch HD+ display with a 19:9 aspect ratio. The phone has 1.8GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 632 14nm processor with Adreno 506 GPU. It has 4GB RAM and comes in 32GB or 64GB storage options. The storage is also expandable up to 256GB.

The phone has a dual rear camera with 13 megapixels primary camera and 2 megapixels secondary camera along with LED flash. It also has 8 megapixels front camera with f/2.0 aperture with LED flash. The phone also features AI face unlock option.

It has a fingerprint sensor located on the back panel. The phone has Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2 and GPS + GLONASS. It packs 4000 mAh battery.

It comes in Aurora Blue, Magic Night Black, Platinum Gold, and Nebula Purple color options. Dimensions measure 158.72×75.94×7.98mm and it weighs 167.2 grams.

At this price, the phone will compete against Realme U1 that also costs same. I haven’t used the Honor 8C yet, but I feel Realme U1 is a better deal with Helio P70 and 25MP front camera.
