Palm, a California based company, launched its first smartphone Palm Phone. At the time when other smartphone brands are trying to give smartphones as large as possible, Palm Phone features just 3.3-inch Display and justifies its name.

Palm Phone comes with 3.3-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD display offering 445 PPI pixel density. The phone is powered by 1.4GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 435 processor with Adreno 505 GPU and 3GB RAM. It has 32 GB of storage with an option to expand storage up to 128GB.

Palm Phone

The phone runs on Android 8.1 (Oreo). It comes with a custom UI without a home screen. It has a gesture pad at the bottom of the screen that can be accessed by swiping up. You can use it to search for apps. The Life Mode puts the phone to sleep when the screen is off and prevents all calls and notifications.

The phone has a 12 megapixels rear camera with LED flash and 8 megapixels front camera.

The phone is IP68 rated for Water and dust resistance. It comes with 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS connectivity options. It packs 800 mAh battery.

Dimensions measure 50.6 x 96.6 x 7.4mm and it weighs 62.5g. The phone costs $349 and comes in Titanium and Gold colors. It will also be available at $299 with a two-year contract or $14.58/month for 24 months.
