HMD Global has just announced its latest mid-range smartphone Nokia X7 in China. The phone features camera with ZEISS optics.
Nokia X7 features a 6.18-inch Full HD+ Pure display with 18.7:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by Octa Core Snapdragon 710 processor with Adreno 616 GPU. It comes in 4GB RAM with 64GB storage, 6GB RAM with 64GB storage and 6GB RAM with 128GB storage options. Storage is also expandable up to 400 GB.
The phone runs on Android 8.1 oreo and the phone is also upgradable to Android 9.0 Pie. We already know how good HMD Global is in pushing regular Android updates.
The phone has a dual camera with 12 megapixels primary Sony IMX363 sensor having ZEISS optics, f/1.8 aperture, 1.4μm pixels, OIS and 13 megapixels secondary sensor having f/2.2 aperture. The camera has AI scene detection to automatically detect 18 scenes. It also has 20 megapixels front camera with f/2.0 aperture and pixel binding tech. The front camera features AI beauty and AI portrait Mode, 6 AI studio lights, AI expressions and new dual-view mode.
The phone has a glass back. Dimensions measure 154.8×75.76×7.97mm and it weighs 178g. The phone comes in Dark Blue, Red, Silver and Midnight Black colors.
Connectivity options include Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS and USB Type-C. It packs 3500 mAh battery with support to 18W fast charging.

It will go on sale in China starting October 23rd. It is expected to launch globally as Nokia 7.1 Plus.
