LG has just announced its flagship phone LG V40 ThinQ with 5 cameras. The phone has a dual camera at the front and triple camera on the back.

LG V40 ThinQ features a 6.4-inch 19.5:9 FullVision QHD+ OLED Display with 3120 x 1440 pixels resolution. Like other phones of the year, it also features a wide notch at the top. The phone runs on Android 8.1 (Oreo) with LG UX. It is also upgradable to Android 9.0 (Pie).

The phone is powered by Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor with Adreno 630 GPU. It has 6GB LPDDR4x RAM and comes in 64GB or 128GB storage models. Storage is also expandable up to 2TB.

The phone has triple camera setup with 12 megapixels primary sensor with f/1.5 aperture, 16 megapixels secondary super wide camera with f/1.9 aperture and 12 megapixels telephoto camera with f/2.4 aperture. The phone also has dual front camera setup with 8 megapixels primary sensor with f/1.9 aperture and secondary 5 megapixels sensor with f/2.2 aperture.

The phone still has 3.5mm audio jack with 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC and Boombox Speaker. So, this phone is also for music lovers who really want amazing music from their phone.

The phone has all glass design. LG uses Silky Blast process that etches the tempered glass back with microscopic pits for offering smoother matte finish. So the phone is not slippery. The phone is water and dust resistant with the IP68 rating. It is also MIL-STD 810G certified for military-grade durability. Dimensions measure 158.7 x 75.8 x 7.7mm and it weighs 169g. It comes in New Aurora Black, New Platinum Gray, New Moroccan Blue, and Carmine Red colors.

It offers 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth 5 LE, GPS, NFC, USB Type-C 2.0 (3.1 compatible) connectivity options. The phone packs 3300 mAh battery with support to Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 (Quick Charge 4 Compatible). It also supports. Wireless charging.

It is available from Verizon USA starting at $40.83 a month for 24 months contract or $979.99 in retail starting from October 18. T-Mobile also offers the phone for $200 down payment and 30 a month for 24 months starting from October 19th. Sprint will sell it at $20 per month plan starting October 19.
