Lenovo just launched its latest smartphone in its K series of smartphones. This new phone is Lenovo K9 and comes with quad-camera setup. The phone is priced at Rs. 8999 and will be available exclusively from Flipkart.
Lenovo K9 features a 5.7-inch HD+ 18:9 2.5D curved glass display. The phone runs on Android 8.1 (Oreo) out of the box. It is powered by 2GHz Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P22 (MT6762) 12nm processor with 650MHz IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU. It has 3 GB RAM with 32 GB of storage with an option to expand storage up to 256GB.
The phone has dual camera setup with 13 megapixels primary and 5 megapixels secondary sensors. The camera app offers levels of natural bokeh improvement from f/1.0 to f/1.6. The front side also got dual camera setup with 13 megapixels primary and 5 megapixels secondary sensors. Both rear and front camera setups include LED flash.
The phone has a Fingerprint sensor located on the back panel. It offers Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5, GPS and USB Type-C connectivity. It packs 3000 mAh battery.
The phone has a glass back and comes in Black and Blue colors. Dimensions measure 153.8 x 72.9 x 7.95mm.
At this price, it will compete against Honor 9 Lite, Realme 2 and Redmi 6. Lenovo took a long time in launching a phone. This is the reason the tagline of the phone is “Killer is back”. It will be interesting to see if it becomes a killer in this segment.
