Today, Amazon announced its Fire TV Stick 4K and Alexa Voice Remote in India. The Fire TV Stick 4K and Alexa Voice Remote are priced at Rs. 5999 and Rs. 1999 respectively. Both products are now up for pre-order in India and shipping will start on November 14.
The Fire TV Stick 4K is powered by the 1.7GHz quad-core processor to offer fast streaming experience and brilliant picture quality. It supports 4K Ultra HD, Dolby Vision, and HDR10+ titles. So, you will experience the high-end picture quality.
It also gives you the access to thousands of Alexa skills and apps along with Amazon Prime portfolio. You can Pair it with your Echo devices to control your experience using voice commands.
The Alexa Voice Remote uses Bluetooth and multidirectional infrared technology to let you control your TV and Fire TV Stick simultaneously. So, you don’t need to use the remote controller of your TV. The voice remote control has dedicated power, volume, and mute buttons alongside the iconic voice button for voice commands. Since the new Voice Remote is backward compatible, you can also use it with your existing Fire TV device in case you do not want to upgrade to 4K model.
Amazon is also bringing the Alexa integration to the existing Fire TV Stick via software update starting November 14.
At this price, Amazon’s Fire TV Stick 4K is the cheapest native 4K players in India. Apple TV 4K starts at Rs. 17,430 in India.
