Xiaomi has just launched its budget phone Xiaomi Redmi 6A in India. The phone is the successor of company’s successful Redmi 5A. Xiaomi Redmi 6A starts at Rs. 5999.
Xiaomi Redmi 6A features a 5.45-inch (1440 × 720 pixels) HD+ 18:9 2.5D curved glass display and runs on MIUI 9 based on Android 8.1 Oreo.. It will also get MIUI 10.
The phone packs 2GHz Quad-Core MediaTek Helio A22 12nm processor with IMG PowerVR GE-class GPU and 2 GB RAM. It comes in 16GB and 32GB storage models with an option to expand storage up to 256 GB with microSD card. It has dedicated microSD card slot along with two nano SIM card slots.
The phone has 13 megapixels rear camera with LED Flash, PDAF, f/2.2 aperture and EIS. It also has 5 megapixels front camera with f/2.2 aperture.
It has Dual 4G VoLTE, so you can use two 4G VoLTE SIM cards active in your phone at the same time. Other connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2 and GPS + GLONASS. It packs 3000 mAh battery.
The phone comes in Grey, Blue, Gold and Rose Gold color options. It measures 147.5×71.5×8.3mm and weighs 145g.
