Along with Mi 8 Lite, Xiaomi has also launched Mi 8 Pro in China. This phone looks similar to Mi 8 but comes with pressure-sensitive in-display fingerprint sensor.

Xiaomi Mi 8 Pro comes with pressure-sensitive in-display fingerprint sensor. This one is more efficient and 29% faster than the in-display fingerprint sensor on the Mi 8. It only activates the unlocking process once you place your finger on the screen.

Xiaomi Mi 8 Pro features a Gradient back but there is also a Transparent Titanium version similar to Mi 8 Explorer Edition.

Xiaomi Mi 8 Pro features a 6.21-inch Full HD+ 18:7:9 AMOLED display and runs on Android 8.1 (Oreo) with MIUI. It is powered by 2.8GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 845 64-bit 10nm processor with Adreno 630 GPU. It comes in 6GB and 8GB RAM options with 128GB (UFS 2.1) storage.

The phone has dual camera setup that includes 12 megapixels wide-angle lens with Sony IMX363 sensor, f/1.8 aperture, dual-tone LED flash, and 12 megapixels secondary camera with q Samsung S5K3M3 sensor, f/2.4 aperture, 1.0µm pixel size and 2X zoom. The camera comes with 4-axis OIS and 4K video recording. It also has 20 megapixels front camera with real-time AI portraits.

It also has IR Face unlock that is fast and efficient.

It comes with Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac dual-band (2×2 MU-MIMO ), Bluetooth 5, Dual-frequency (L1+L5) GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, NFC and USB Type-C connectivity. It packs 3000 mAh battery with Quick Charge 4+ fast charging.
