Xiaomi has just announced Mi 8 Lite in China. This phone can be seen as cheaper version of Xiaomi Mi 8. It is available for order starting today and will go on sale from September 25th.

Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite features a 6.26-inch Full HD+ 19:9 2.5D curved glass display and runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with MIUI. The phone is powered by Octa Core Snapdragon 660 14nm processor with Adreno 512 GPU. The phone comes in 4GB or 6GB LPDDR4x RAM with 64GB of storage and 6 GB LPDDR4x RAM with 128GB storage.

It has dual camera setup that includes 12MP Sony IMX363 sensor with f/1.9 aperture and 5 megapixels secondary Samsung S5K5E8. It also has 24 megapixels front camera with Sony IMX576 sensor and 1.8um pixel size. Both cameras boast AI capabilities for improved experience.

It also has fingerprint sensor located on the rear panel. It features Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz / 5GHz) 2×2 MIMO , Bluetooth 5 LE, GPS + GLONASS and USB Type-C connectivity options. It also packs 3350 mAh battery with support to Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0.

Dimensions measure 156.4×75.8×7.5mm and it weighs 169g. It comes in Aurora Blue, Sunset Gold and Midnight Black colors.
