WhatsApp is developing a dark mode for its app and its on the way to reach your devices soon.
A dark mode is an obvious feature that helps when you are using the app in night. Dark Mode helps in protecting the eyes in dark environments. Still, it takes app developers years to realise that dark mode is useful. Recently, Google started rolling out it for YouTube. Now WhatsApp is also working on it as well.
According to WABetaInfo, the dark mode is being implemented right now. WhatsApp launches a new Beta every day They have also published few screenshots of the beta version with dark mode.
WhatsApp is one of the most popular mobile apps on the planet with over a billion user. So, there is a good reason for adding a dark mode on WhatsApp. WhatsApp should have added the feature long ago. Now when Android 9 is going to have a dark mode. WhatsApp and other app developers wants to be compatible with that.
The dark mode feature is available in beta and is not yet released in a stable version. So, you need to wait for few days before it becomes available publicly.
