Vivo has launched a new smartphone Vivo Y97 in China. The phone’s design is similar to Vivo V11 and Vivo V11 Pro. It has similar kind of waterdrop notch and back with gradient finish.

Vivo Y97 features a 6.3-inch (2280 x 1080 pixels) Full HD+ 19.5:9 aspect ratio display. The phone has a Waterdrop notch that houese front camera. It is powered by Octa Core MediaTek Helio P60 12nm processor with ARM Mali-G72 MP3 GPU and 4GB RAM. It comes with 128GB of storage with an option to expand storage up to 256GB.

The phone runs on Funtouch OS 4.5 based on Android 8.1 (Oreo). It has dual camera setup with 16 megapixels primary and 2 megapixels secondary sensors. The phone also has 16 megapixels front camera. The offers portrait shots and AI scene recognition. It also offers AI beautify feature.

The phone lacks fingerprint sensor but comes with AI face unlock. It scans 1024 facial points to scan the face and unlocks the phone in just 0.1 seconds.

It comes with Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2 and GPS connectivity options. It packs 3315 mAh battery.

The phone comes in Black, Aurora Blue and Rose Gold colors. The 3D micro-arc mirror back with gradient finish looks really beautiful. Dimensions measure 155.97 x 75.63 x 8.1 mm,
